THE ZOO is a commercial-free radio station streaming in HD with a vast catalog of album rock from the 70s and 80s.

Our core music revolves around the rise of the electric guitar acts from Jimi Hendrix to George Lynch, which represents the height of popularity for our namesake KZEW FM98 Dallas / Ft. Worth. But just like our predecessor, any band with Texas roots from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Jerry Jeff Walker also has a home at THE ZOO. And we play a truckload of other great music from that era including reggae, folk, fusion, new wave, and a few one-hit wonders. We also sprinkle in some vintage KZEW commercials & DJ intros, rock history, and comedy bits to keep things fun and ever-interesting.
