Sixteen and was starting to develop habits that would require more funds. Changes were now part of my future. Smoking to much, nothing else to do in west Texas. Watching the sand blow by gets old fast. Thank God for KZEW! We plugged our cable to my beat up’ol Yamaha tuner. From that day forward I don’t believe we ever turned it off. All of hours of listening to the ZOO paid off.
Six months at a broadcast school in Oklahoma City, and Within a weeks I was making mistakes at some really impressive stations. Loved every minute of it. Spent 35 years On-Air

GOD gave me the ability, KZEW gave me my inspiration manythanks

kzew back in the day when they went off the air and went into mexican music....
then there was the internet...thank ya's God for this station!! that was when there was a jail break.... hehe...
