NEW ZOO DAY?

I was recently going through all the early play logs that Ira gave me (yes he kept them) all these years. When the ZOO started in 1973, they played rock music from the most recent 6 years. At that time there was no "Classic Rock", just new rock n roll with some blues rolled in that Jon Dillon brought to the table.

I thought, wouldn't it be cool to have a day where all we played was new music from the last 6 years that best reflects the same limited selection as the original Zoo. Some of the original artists like the Rolling Stones are still in that list which is amazing.

What do you all think? What day would be best to run this program?

And if we expanded the idea to include everything we play that was released after the original Zoo went off the air in 1989, we could extend the program to cover a whole weekend.
