I grew up in the DFW area (Garland) 1976-1990 and KZEW "The Zoo" was the soundtrack of our lives in those days. KZEW stickers on the car, Zoo World every year (Bugs Henderson, Blackhorse) etc!!! The Morning Zoo with LeBella and Rody none better, Randy "The Metal God" Davis late nights, Beverly Beasley, Chaz Mixon (Heavy Metal Wednesday's at the Ritz) FlagPole Hill Free Concert around 1979-80 with Wet Willie and Budgie...on and on. I still FLY the ZOO tee shirts way up here in the Chicagoland area to this day!! We promoted the first Metallica tour in 1983 and the Great Randy Davis voiced our Radio Spot for that show Aug 22, 1983! KZEW always supported local music!! Welcome Back Zoo Crew we never forgot you!!!
