When artists rip off their own songs

Listening to Bachman-Turner Overdrive on The Zoo this morning, entertained to realize that their 1975 song “Hey You” is a direct rip-off of their own ‘74 hit “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet”. Same chords; almost identical chorus progression. I guess if you’re going to plagiarize, that’s the way to do it!
