Point Blank & Blackhorse
Double Barrel Rock & Roll!
What an absolute honor to turn up the volume on a lazy Sunday afternoon as Point Blank and Blackhorse bring pure, unfiltered live Texas rock straight to the stage! This isn't your typical late-night grind — it's a must-be-there Sunday matinee that lets you rock hard, soak up the legends, and still head home with daylight to spare. Perfect way to cap the weekend on a high note or kick off your week feeling alive and inspired. No Monday morning regrets here — just killer riffs, full bar vibes, and memories that last!
Hailing from Irving, Texas, Point Blank exploded onto the scene in 1974 as a Southern rock powerhouse. Through lineup changes and epic rides, their mission now is crystal clear: to honor every chapter of their incredible legacy by performing the music that defined those lineups. Join them as they fire up those fond memories of good times shared, killer riffs, and the unbreakable bond of the Point Blank family — inspiring new fans to jump in and keep the fire burning.
Opening the afternoon is Blackhorse, the 3-piece Texas hard rock beast that's been delivering "kick ass" shows since 1972. Co-founded in Mineral Wells by John Teague (drums/vocals), Frank Dison (bass/vocals), and Gary James (lead guitar/vocals), they've ridden waves of changes — including Paul “Pappy” Middleton on bass for their killer 1979 debut album Blackhorse. After regional domination and a few twists, the current lineup (with Frank back in the fold and Donnie Pendleton on bass) has been locked in for 9 years, tearing up the Midwest, dropping a new album soon, and just plain having a blast. Full bar and food service will keep the energy flowing all afternoon long. And here's the smart move: snag your presale tickets now before they hit $15 at the door.
