Where all your friends are free.

Hey there, fellow Zoo Freaks! Y'all know how it goes these days: people glued to their phones, doom-scrollin' through social media like it's a bad habit they can't kick. That stuff's straight-up addictive, man. Those platforms are built like slot machines – likes, retweets, notifications poppin' off to give you that quick dopamine rush. Infinite scroll keeps ya hooked, fearin' you'll miss the next big drama. And the algorithms? They're engineered to feed ya the most rage-bait crap possible. Outrage spreads like wildfire because angry posts get more clicks, more shares, more time on screen. Before you know it, you're in an echo chamber full of arguments, trolls hidin' behind screens, and endless comparison to everybody else's "perfect" life. No wonder folks end up pissed off, anxious, and burned out. It's designed that way – profit over peace.

Now flip the dial back to what real radio's always been about. Tune into The Zoo and it's a whole different ride. We're passive in the best way – no notifications screamin' at ya, no endless rage to chase. Just crank it up in the car, at work, or while kickin' back, and let the music and comedy do the work.

Our classic rock tracks hit different: the raw guitar riffs of Hendrix, the soul of Stevie Ray, the storytelling of the legends – it pulls you in without demanding anything back. Throw in some vintage comedy bits from the vault, and suddenly you're laughin' your ass off instead of stressin'. Laughter's the real medicine – it drops those stress hormones and pumps endorphins like nothin' else. Studies back it up, but we don't need 'em; we've felt it since the '70s when The Zoo first rocked Dallas.

Picture this: you're cruisin' down the highway with the windows down, old-school car radio blastin' a deep cut, feelin' that freedom the internet could never touch. Social media wants to keep you angry and addicted so you'll stay scrollin'.

The Zoo wants you free, feelin' good, and rockin' out. Come back to radio – we fixed it. Contribute and tune in at thezoorocks.com, and let's prove freeform rock 'n' roll is still worth it. Zoo Freaks forever!

Our passionate volunteer Zoo Crew, veteran rock jocks and music die-hards, is dedicated to restoring radio's greatness. We will make it great again with your help. Join the radio revolution.
