Little Miss Dangerous

Crazy Lixx

The Zoo Crew is spinning the electrifying track "Little Miss Dangerous" by Crazy Lixx, a Swedish hard rock band that’s got the Zoo Freaks headbanging. This song, featured on their 2025 album Thrill of the Bite, is a six-minute-plus anthem that vocalist Danny Rexon and bassist Jens Anderson co-wrote, marking their first full collaboration. Rexon shared on Facebook that the track’s unique vibe sets it apart from their usual sound, blending a harder edge with an '80s rock spirit that could’ve hit the charts in 1986. He’s also quick to clarify it’s not a cover of Ted Nugent’s song of the same name, though it channels that era’s raw energy. The music video, dripping with hair metal aesthetics, has racked up thousands of streams since its October 2024 release, with fans on Reddit’s hairmetal community praising its nostalgic glory.

Another tidbit from a Instagram Q&A session reveals the band teased that "Little Miss Dangerous" might hint at a full album, which they later confirmed as Thrill of the Bite. Fans on X went wild when the single dropped, noting its infectious riffs and cinematic feel, inspired by the band’s love for '80s and '90s films. The track’s place in the album’s lineup, alongside other bangers like "Call of the Wild" and "Midnight Rebels," has critics calling it a standout for its melody and aggressive guitars, with one reviewer on Get Ready to ROCK! comparing Rexon’s vocals to Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott.

Crazy Lixx kicked off their journey in 2002 in Malmö, Sweden, founded by Danny Rexon, who’s been the driving force behind their '80s-inspired hard rock revival. Starting with a core lineup that included guitarist Vic Zino, drummer Joey Cirera, and bassist Luke Rivano, the band quickly became a leader in the "New Wave of Swedish Sleaze" alongside acts like Crashdïet. Their debut EP, Heroes Are Forever (2006), and first full album, Loud Minority (2008), set the stage for their rise, blending glam metal with modern grit. Over the years, they’ve stayed true to their roots, releasing albums like New Religion (2010) and Street Lethal (2021), while building a global fanbase through viral YouTube videos and festival performances.

The band’s knack for reimagining their classics shone in their 2024 compilation Two Shots at Glory, which racked up nearly 10 million YouTube views with cinematic videos drawing from '80s B-movies and '90s blockbusters. Fans can connect with Crazy Lixx on their Facebook, where they share tour updates and behind-the-scenes content, or follow their vibrant Instagram for video teasers and throwback photos. On X, they engage with Zoo Freaks and beyond, hyping new releases. For diehard supporters, the Crazy Lixx Fan Club on Facebook is a hub for trading concert stories and rare merch, while Hard Rock Forums offers a space for fans to dissect every riff and lyric.
