No Such Time

The Southern River Band

You're hangin' with THE ZOO Radio station and we're spinnin' The Southern River Band's song "No Such Time". This track from their album "Easier Said Than Done," was penned by Bernard Fanning of Powderfinger fame, making it a special collaboration for the band. They described the song as a "ripping tune" that captures their high-energy rock 'n' roll spirit, with fans on X buzzing about its raw, anthemic vibe after the music video dropped. The band teased that the song’s creation process involved late-night jam sessions, reflecting their gritty, hands-on approach to music-making.

Formed in 2013 in Thornlie, Western Australia, The Southern River Band began when lead singer Cal Kramer, inspired by his older mates, picked up a guitar and started jamming. What began as a casual pub gig every two weeks grew into a full-fledged rock outfit, fueled by their love for classic and modern rock influences. Their relentless gigging and authentic, high-octane performances quickly built a dedicated following, cementing their status as a powerhouse in Australia’s rock scene.
