End Of The Story

SUiCiDE BOMBERS

The Zoo Crew, a vibrant collective of hippie DJs, is currently spinning the electrifying track "End Of The Story" by SUiCiDE BOMBERS on THE ZOO radio station, delighting their dedicated listeners, the Zoo Freaks. This song, from the band’s 2024 album Murder Culture, is a gritty anthem that blends sleaze rock with a raw, apocalyptic edge. In a 2024 interview with Rocknytt, frontman Chris Damien described the track as “a middle finger to conformity, born from late-night whiskey binges and existential rants.” The band revealed on their Instagram that the song’s iconic riff was improvised during a chaotic rehearsal when guitarist Stevie Tee accidentally knocked over an amp, creating a feedback loop they later refined into the song’s signature sound.

Fans on the SUiCiDE BOMBERS Fan Club Facebook group have shared their own stories about "End Of The Story," with one member recounting a 2024 Oslo gig where the band played an extended version, incorporating a spontaneous cover of The Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog” that left the crowd in a frenzy. A post on X from the band’s official account teased that the song’s lyrics were partly inspired by a cryptic fan letter received after a 2023 European tour, hinting at themes of rebellion and finality. The Sleaze Roxx fan site noted that the track’s music video, shot in an abandoned warehouse, featured real pyrotechnics that nearly got the band arrested for fire code violations, adding to its outlaw mystique.

SUiCiDE BOMBERS formed in 2011 in Oslo, Norway, when Chris Damien, a former punk drummer, decided to channel his love for glam, sleaze, and hard rock into a new project. According to their bio on Facebook, Damien recruited guitarist Stevie Tee, bassist C. Slim, and drummer Lyle Starr after a chance meeting at a dive bar where they bonded over a shared obsession with Mötley Crüe and Hanoi Rocks. The band’s early days were marked by relentless gigging in Norway’s underground scene, often playing to rowdy crowds in venues barely holding together. Their fan-run website recounts how their first demo, recorded on a shoestring budget in a friend’s garage, caught the attention of a small indie label, leading to their debut album Criminal Record in 2012.

The band’s rise wasn’t without struggle; a 2015 Metal Hammer interview revealed they once hitchhiked 200 miles to a gig after their van broke down, only to find the venue double-booked. Their persistence paid off, and by 2024, they’d built a cult following across Europe, with Instagram posts showcasing packed shows and fans sporting their iconic skull-and-bombs logo. SUiCiDE BOMBERS continue to engage their community through X, where they share tour updates, and the fan club group, where Zoo Freaks and others swap stories and rare merch. Their unpolished, high-octane sound and defiant ethos keep them a favorite among sleaze rock diehards.
